1. Visesha Pooja

Suprabhatam Seva in Tirumala Description


Visesha puja starts with rendering upacharas to God, culminating in offering aarti. As panchasuktas are recited thirumanjanam is done to the utsava vigraha starting with milk, water, curds and sandal wood paste.
Visesha Pooja is one of the weekly Sevas which will be specially performed on Monday.

    2. ASHTADALA PAADHA PADHMARADHANA SEVA

                         


    Sahasra Kalasabhishekam is one part of the weekly Sevas for Lord Venkateswara which will be performed every Wednesday in Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara. The processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy varu along with his two consorts, Sri Viswaksena-the chief commander of Lord. This seva is performed to the deities after the second bell in the morning at the Bangaru Vakili.
    Sahasra Kalasabhishekam means 1008 vessels are filled with Abhisheka Theertham. The celebration of this auspicious day is the dedication of the silver idols for Lord Venkateswara and his consorts Sri Devi and Bhu Devi along with Lord Sri Viswaksena (He is the chief commander of the Lord).
    Then an Archana is offered to the main deity and the water from the Golden Vessel is sprinkled on the Feet of the main deity, thus symbolically including the Mula Virat(main deity) also in the Sahasra Kalasabhishekam.
    This pooja is performed only on Wednesdays. This archana is offered in private where a curtain will be drawn before the Mula Virat, with an Archaka alone inside the temple.
    One should make a prior booking to get the dates to perform this pooja.

    3. SAHASRA KALASABHISHEKAM SEVA

                         


    This is one of the unique sorts of day-by-day Sevas in Tirumala Tirupati, where couples are permitted to perform the marriage of Lord Venkateswara to Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Padmavathi. Kalyanostavam Tirumala marks the hour-long divine wedding custom performed agreeing Vaikasa Agama Sastra for the Utsava Murthis of the Lord alongside His consorts Sri Devi and Bhu Devi in the Kalyana Mandapam.
    The interest behind the marriage of Lord Sri Venkateswara (also called Lord Srinivasa) with Goddess Padmavathi is described with pictures. The rishis headed by Kasyapa started to play out a forfeit on the banks of the Ganges. Sage Narada went by them and asked them for what reason they were playing out the forfeit and who might be satisfied by it.
